Dear Programme Director,

I teach the way I build: from first principles, with real hardware in hand, and with the student's next project already in mind.

I am writing to express my interest in an instructor position at [Institution Name] covering robotics, microcontroller programming, or software engineering. My qualification is both formal and practical: I spent a year as a Microcontroller Trainer at Indobot Academy (Yogyakarta, 2022–2023) designing curriculum, delivering four cohorts of 20+ participants each, and providing the lab manuals and reusable code libraries those cohorts still use. Alongside that training role I have been building production systems with microcontrollers since 2018 — ESP32, STM32, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi — so I teach from a foundation of things that have actually shipped, not slides assembled from datasheets.

My hardware curriculum spans sensor integration (SHT20, MQ-137, thermistors, RFID), actuator control (relays, motor drivers), display output (OLED, LCD), and wireless communication (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, MQTT). On the control systems side I have implemented and tuned PID controllers using Ziegler–Nichols and Cohen–Coon methods, Fuzzy Logic controllers for non-linear plants, and LQR controllers for state-feedback systems — giving me the depth to teach at both the introductory workshop level and the advanced undergraduate level. For robotics tracks I pair hardware knowledge with simulation tools: Wokwi for circuit design, Tinkercad for entry-level builds, and KiCad for PCB design where electronics layout is part of the curriculum. My Wokwi maker profile hosts publicly accessible Arduino simulations that students can fork and modify directly in the browser.

Highlights of fit for this position:

What I find most important in technical education is the moment a student stops following a tutorial and starts debugging a problem they have never seen before. My courses are designed to reach that moment early: exercises use real components with real failure modes, not simulations where nothing ever burns. I produce structured lab manuals, write-ups, and reference code libraries so students leave with materials that support continued learning, and I maintain open office hours-style availability via async messaging for students who hit blockers between sessions.

I can deliver training on-site in Remote-ID or remotely via a live-streamed lab format with shipped hardware kits, depending on your programme structure. My training rate is USD 35/hour with session minimums and curriculum development billed separately on request. I would be glad to share sample lab materials, a curriculum outline, or a brief teaching demonstration at your convenience. You can reach me at azzar.mr.zs@gmail.com or +62 822 3252 9804.

Sincerely,
Azzar Budiyanto
